Revant RX lenses for Juliet

Hi

Getting back to this topic as I had a change of priorities due a new purchase. I just bought a pair of Pit Boss 1 Trons from Europe (where I live). So instead of using Revant or Fuse to get RX lenses for them I plan to go with Extreme Eyewear in UK. Does anyone (from Europe) have experiences with their Mirror coated RX-lenses for Oakleys? I'm planning to get their Polarized brown lenses with Blue power mirror for my Trons early next year when I have had my prescription updated so any feedback before that would be nice.

I have earlier used their Orange to Brown Photochromic Lenses in my Flak Jackets and was happy with those.

I have ordered 6 more RX lenses, and I have gone with Fuse each time. I can't tell any difference between the clarity of the two options. Seems to me the cut of the fuse lenses looks much more professional. And their turn around time was much faster. For me they were able to do progressive lenses and revant couldn't.

Bumping this old thread.

I went ahead some time ago with Fuse progressive prescription lenses and wanted to share my experiences with them in case somebody else is interested.
I bought two sets of trivex prescription lenses for Pit boss 1 and have some mixed feelings about Fust after that.

Lets’ start with the negatives:
They promised 5-7 work day turnover but did not meet this and it took them several more work days which as a stand alone issue would have been a minor thing.

The second thing with them is that with their first try they made the lenses too big. The PB1 frames were sent to fuse without the metal plates (because those were being painted at the same time). When Fuse sent the frames back with the Fuse lenses I noticed that the lenses were too big/tall and were distorting the frames so that the plates did not fit back properly. Also Fuse had replaced a pin with hex headed bolt in the frames and I had order and pay for a new pin because it was impossible to put the plates back at all with the hex headed bolt.

After I sent the frames back to Fuse they made new lenses for me. Again it took a lot longer than the estimated 5-7 days and they even told me that it took them several tries to get the lenses right. When the frames arrived I noticed that the plate screws were really chewed during the process and there was some clearly visible damage to the paint job around the screws which required some re-painting on the plates.

Now the positives.
The communications from Fuse was always polite and professional.

Also when they finally got the lenses right I must say that those are great. I got cascade and cosmic trivex lenses and I love them. The lenses are great to look though. I took the cosmic lenses out for a test run and compared those to my other Oakley sunglasses with Oakley emerald prescription lenses and must say I like to Fuse lenses at least as much as those Oakley lenses. And trivex lenses seem to be a bit clearer compared to polycarbonate lenses Oakley uses.

Though if it would be possible I would get Oakley polarized prizm prescription lenses for my Pit bosses but unfortunately that is not an option if you need progressive lenses.

Also both Fuse lenses are great to look at. I have attached I picture of my Pit boss 1 frames with the cosmic lenses.

In summary it seems to me that there is a lot of trial are error in the Fuse processes but when they get it right the lenses are very good.
