Romeo 1 Size

I know that Romeos are the biggest of the x-metals, but in what direction? It seems that the Juliet, Half-X and Mars are the only ones that fit my head.
XX and Romeo 2s are too wide and stick out a good inch on each side, are they as wide as the 2s? or are they just big vertically? Pics next to a any of the three that fit me would be awesome.

If the mars fit and the xx metal don't, then i think the romeos may be too big for you. They are as big or slightly larger than the xx metal. Don't have a pic handy but i wear romeos, xx and juliets. Mars and x squared are too small for me.

Side question, but the are the Romeo nose bomb pieces "glued" to the frame? From all the pictures i've seen, I can't tell if the Romeo 1 frames have a little hook like other x-metals to secure the nose piece, without the needs of an adhesive.

Romeo vs. Mars. Note the Romeo doesn't look much wider, but it wraps back quite a bit more.

The frame has hooks, the nose bombs press into them. They don't need to be stretched on like Juliets and others.

There was a great comparison photo a little while back on here with an R1 next to an XX and the R1 dwarfed it visually which was surprising as to me they felt a similar size when wearing. The R1 is an all round larger frame but tapers at the edges compared to the square ish XX which does help to reduce its initial appearance in size but make no mistake, it is a big frame.

Hmm this makes me think it might fit, only because the batwolf fits me perfectly the way it wraps around, but the fuel cell looks too big because it is more squareish and sticks out past my head

Yah, the R1 is a large frame fore sure. Some extra perspective, I wear a hat size of 7 1/2, juliets are way small on me in width and height. XX, XS tend to fit me almost perfect, they are a bit snug. R1s fit me very well, probably the best, yet I know they are on. They have a larger circumference compared to the XX and the XS, and do like others have mentioned taper back. Find someone that has a pair to try on first before you plop down the green backs. If your ever up in Albany, I'd be happy to meet up at the O store and let ya try on my R1s. GL man.

Here are all of the metals, save the Penny, on my head. I've owned all but 3 at some point. The Romeo 2 and XX were borderline, but just didn't fit right and didn't have the right coverage. The Romeo fits me best, enough coverage (I'd like a touch more, but oh well), and I re-bent the stems to hug my head better. The Mars fits very snug and is just a fun pair to own. Juliet was way too small, Half X and XS never intrigued me enough to own them, but I recall them both fitting well enough. Penny I haven't given a thought to even try.

Looks like we have more or less the same head size. The mars looks like it's gonna snap from being too snug. I can only wear mine without shox. Yup the romeo 1 fits the best...but how did you bend the earstems? Are they pliable enough? Won't they snap?
