Jordan lens vs normal. I know about the shape difference. But someone just told me that the actual etching font of the Jordan and all 1st gen Xmetal R1s is slightly different from later gen Xmetal R1s.

Can anyone confirm and if so describe the font style difference and share pics???

Hmmmm i think i have a pic..it is italicized different

Ahhh cant find it, if someone doesnt have it, i can take pics when i get home.

I checked my stash and now understand the subtle difference in italicisation between the gens.

Yet another new X learning point for me and one more subtle difference between the Jordan and gen 1 and gen 2 Romeos.

Anyone know if this is just the black lenses or the gold and fire as well??

I don't recall a clear delineation between the two although I wouldn't doubt that there are some variances out there. unlike the Jordans that truly are different from the regular black iridium

Here are a couple macro shots for comparison...

Seems like even the font used in the etched text was refined as production evolved.
