btw, its all not really true. the curvature along the top is way off and will need modification, unless you really force them in there (which defeats the purpose of xyz optics)

yeah this is the pair. i always do a thorough frame clean when i receive pairs so i figured may as well check. it basically turns out looking like a metal half jacket XLJ haha. quite cool.

yeah you can relax for now mate, till i get bored and cut some of those lenses down to fit the romeo2. are you sure they're super rounded out? the t5 threads are pretty deep in the screw and a quality t5 feels more like a pressure fit than actually grabbing teeth. wanna try again? they arent jammed in too tight anyway (well factory tight isnt, unless someone cranked it in).
