Rubber slime????

Question???

What is the cause of the rubber on the ear arms to break down and get slimy??? Seems that i have lots of them started to do it????

Your skin oils, chemicals from hair products and just being out in the elements. The rubbers were design to obsorbe oils and sweat and grip at the same time. Think of it like a sponge once it's packed of whatever they sucks up it starts to Ozze and release it. It's just doing its job

Working as intended. They soak up sweat and get sticky to grip your head. Over time the oils from your skin and chemicals and stuff break them down. Proper cleaning can prolong their life.
