🦘Ruby Lenses 101

Ah, in your original pics it looks like there's a couple of big dings in the iridium but perhaps those are just reflections...

In those pics it's hard to tell - one of them the base tint looks a little bluish while in the other it looks more grey.

But if IRL they're clearly blue then my money's on Ruby. If it's a fainter blue then more likely Torch. If grey, then +Red.

I've come to terms that they're defiantly not ruby, maybe a factory 2nd +red or torch? They behave closely to the Gen 2 +Red lens I have (bottom pair), I tried explaining their character...

No direct light they appear - red(edge)/translucent slate grey (grey)
Direct light mirror red(edges)/grapefruit & yellow (center)
Base tint appear slate but if tilted up/down it will appear light blue

Disclaimer needs to be added that prozone has duplicated the ruby lens and that just a blue tint alone is NOT verification of authenticity of OEM.
