Safest way to change lenses on FMJ Eye Jackets

What is the safest recommended way to pop out the lenses, to avoid causing damage to the finish on the FMJ Eye Jacket frames?

Getting them in is the easy part. Think physics and temperature. I put the frame in warm water for about 10 minutes and the lenses in the freezer.

The cold won’t cause any delam? The lenses seem so darn delicate!

I have never had an issue however I dont wear most of mine. I dont think the cold temp itself would cause an issue. What the difference from the freezer to leaving a pair in your car in the winter?

OEM, OEM Custom Cuts or Aftermarket?
Make sure the lenses don't have sharp edges. If so sand them smooth.
BTW I am very tolerant with lenses in FMJ frames.
