So they aren't the same. Prizm Snow has Rose base, Prizm Sapphire has universal (gray) base.

Bang on... All the Prizm Snow are rose based.

Would like to have a set of black matte lenses for either my XS or my Juliets after they are overhauled bij X-MAN. Maybe even both

I can't wait to buy the latch ones of these... they are not out in the UK so may have to get them delivered to my GF in Texas....

I love the sapphire lens(regular) and snow as own numerous pairs with both...

No. The matte lenses are not from Oakley, they are from Dillon Optics

Tried out some prizm sapphire fade's (mainlinks to be exact, holbrooks were out of stock). Seemed a bit too pink for me (looking through the lenses). I guess from reading this thread I was expecting more of a grayish/blue outlook.

Here's a little comparison photo I shot between Prizm "Black" on the left, Prizm Sapphire in the center and Prizm Tungsten on the right.

Keep in mind theres not much color to anything during winter in Wisconsin so the photo was pretty flat to start with. At least it displays the difference in tint.

I have seen in the oakley website that evzero pitch black iridium has prizm universal base... Is it true?
So is that a prizm universal base lens (which is a grey base) also change the light transmission property of the lens?
