Sellers Requesting PayPal Friends and Family

Hey Everyone,

I have a general question about sending payments to sellers. I have had a few sellers request receiving PayPal’s as Friends and Family (avoid fees, but no protection) vs Goods and services (fees, but protected).

What are everyone’s thoughts on this? Am I being overly cautious by only wanting to send PayPal’s as Goods and services? Thanks!

No, pretty sure it’s 3% unless there’s a currency change...

It’s 2.9% to be specific, there are plenty of well trusted members here that F&F would be okay dealing with them. After all it’s your money and you do whatever you feel more comfortable with.

I agree, if I look back at someone’s posting history and they have sold multiple pairs and have hundreds of posts I feel ok about that.

I was just wondering if this is a common thing/request, it is just sort of new to me.
