When I called to for the tune up, they actually sent me a UPS shipping label so all I have to do is put it in a go and drop it off at the UPS store. I asked about stripping them down, but the lady said to send them as.

yeah, but if you strip them down you get spare parts for free anyway. alway handy having spares.

default is usually small. just add a note to tell them which one you want for sure

You mean the flex coupler? Yes-- in fact, I'll wager that's why most people even bother sending in their X-metals to HQ in the first place! Otherwise, everyone would be tightening them up at home without the fear of their $200+ glasses going missing.
