Serial Question

Hey Guys,
I'm new to the world of collecting X Metal. How much does a serial vs non-serial affect the price? And does the serial number affect the price much (i.e. high vs low serial).

For Penny specifically, do they all star with P100..... or does the 1 mean it's already been cycled through a ton (i.e. earlier would have been P000....).

So I guess it's a PI, not a P1. So if I have a set that are PI000236, it would mean it was 236th off the line?

Lucked out! Bought them not knowing that there was even a serial. Thank god I have replacement lenses as the lenses were in very rough shape!
