I called customer support for the SI site, but they didn't know, so does anyone have an idea of when the SI Tincans will actually be available to buy? I am hoping to have them in time for my trip back to Texas.

Yes, they have been for at least a week now, but they are not available to purchase yet. I could pre-order them, but they will not ship until they receive them. That's what I want to know, when will they be ready to actually purchase.

Oh my bad, I thought you were having a hard time finding them. If I were you, I would go ahead and preorder them, that way you are at the top of the list when they are actually available to ship. I'm not sure what the demand will be for them, but at least you know you'll get them fairly quick.
