Sliver/Sliver XL stems

I see that everything is the same on the sliver vs sliver XL except for the height of the frames. My question is, would the stems from the original sliver fit on the sliver XL? I like the added height of the lenses on the XL but I can't stand the small oval "O" on the stem. I prefer the older squared "O" on the original. Thanks.

I just twist them out when the arm is open.

I'm scared I'm gonna break these arms trying to get them off.. Does it take a lot of force? How do you twist them off?

The stems just kind of pop on most Oakleys.

Twist the stem in a circular fashion along its main axis

The little fork piece with nubs on the top and bottom compresses as you twist.

Then just set the top or bottom in place and muscle it back in there to reattach.

@Rustpot, you sir just completely made it perfectly understandable. The "Twist the stem in a circular fashion along its main axis" made perfect sense when you said it.. They popped right out. Truly appreciate it.
