Smog Tortoise Vs. Acid Tortoise Black

Anyone out there have a Smog Tortoise that they can compare to the new Acid Tortoise Black colorway? I've got the Plaid and Text Smog Frogs, but I haven't been able to track down a Smog Tort yet (it seems like tit was definitely the most rare of the Smog series). I'm wondering it it's different enough from the Acid Tort to be worth the effort.

Smog Tortoise

The Acid Tortoise effect is almost finger print looking and fine, the Smog Tortoise effect is solid.

Nice side-by-side comparison. It looks like the smog tort has a gloss finish, like the plaid. I was shocked to see the difference in finish between the text and plaid when I first got them.
