If you search you'll find a part two showing the finished product.

These lenses are freaky, they look like red-base-color-chrome-iridiums popped inside out. o_O

Questions:
  • What kind of lenses are these?
  • Can they be cut for other XMetals as well?
  • What do they cost?
  • Can these be used at all in real life?
  • Can they be used for self reflection? ;-)

I would like to share my experience with the quality @Chris A Hardaway produces.
I bought two sets of lenses for my Half-X.
One set of Oakley OEM Tungsten Iridium and one set of 24K cut by Chris.
The lenses cut by Chris fit better and without any issues than the OEM from Oakley.
The right lens TI does not fit at all even even after several attempts and comparing with the 24K I cannot use the OEM right lens.
That means I'll keep Chris's 24K mounted in my Half-X forever.
I shouldn't be surprised, but I'm through with OEM.
Big thanks again.

I went through this but I most likely missed it.

Can I see some XS polar cuts from Straightlink donors? I want to see how the etching lines up.

Thanks!
