That was here last week too ;)
So bad at Whitefish, the trees didn't even offer much depth perception.

Skiers were getting vertigo at Mount Bachelor, Oregon, when I was there in '14, due to high winds and whiteout conditions.

No, but they call powder “granulated”. I had a buddy skier from Cleveland. He was great on ice but kept trying to edge in powder.
It was very scratchy today.

Skied somewhere in the western US years ago and the snow was a bit less than fluffy.

The mountain wasn't very populated and a liftie said to me, " you must be from the East, because the locals won't ski this crap ".

I prefer pow, but it's nice to be able to set an edge, when necessary. ;)
