Sounds like the kid found them and didn't know what they were and tried to make a quick buck.

Either way, congrats on a great pickup! At that price, it'll be worth spending the money to have @THE X-MAN refinish them so they look brand new.

Ive been checking out some of his stuff and am thinking about it, but I may just wear them carefree for a while then refinish and add new lens kit. We'll see how long that lasts...
