The gun metal is a pretty nice color but instill kinda like the shiny finish of those FMJ fast jackets

so what exactly qualifies a pair to be FMJ and cost the additional $30?

The rep I spoke to at the store said FMJ has an extra layer of coating hence the extra cost.

My wife's Half Jacket has a silver frame. Are those prone to peeling as well or is peeling solely a chrome related problem?
