Selling cabinet I purchased from a store that was closing in 2002. Excellent condition, no keys. $600
My son, Griffin (now 23), proudly showcased his LoTR Lego collection as a middle schooler. He is now in grad school in Boone, NC and has assembled a group of undergrad and grad student volunteers. They are helping a woman dig out and demo her home after the hurricane destroyed it with 4 feet of mud, sewage and water. She has lost everything, so our goal is to source furniture and rugs etc. in the Raleigh/Durham area.
All of the money from the sale of this cabinet will go toward refurnishing the home she has lived in for 35 years.
I have not met her yet, but he said she reminded him of me (divorced, mid 50s ish and very resourceful) He said if a disaster like this happened to me, he hopes someone would help me navigate if he couldn’t be here. They have been putting in 7 hour days since the storm. I suggested he bring her flowers one day, just to give her a sense of hope. He actually did it. I couldn’t be more proud.View attachment 1183581View attachment 1183580
