There’s definitely a lot of prep work involved. You can just do it with little to no prep but it’ll look like ****. Although some dude did one and called “industrial” and managed to sell it.

No question, I have great respect for the work that goes into proper metal finishing. I'm just curious if the frames will take the ano as easily as knife parts and such.

They do. The prep is the main part that takes alot of time. And the proper etch makes a big difference in how vibrant the colors come out.

Tried out a new cerakote color today. Copper suede with cobalt.
