Some Split Jacket Have No Serial Number?

A seller claim that he bought a split jacket on lenscrafter and send me the picture of the split jacket. but i notice that there is no serial# beside the "Split Jacket" lettering. is it still legit?

Both of my Split Jacket sunglasses have serial number on the stem. I bought them from BACKCOUNTRY two months ago.

Both of my splits have serials, although none of the MPH or OCP stuff will have numbers.

he told me he got it on lens crafters. the reason we got in touch is that i bought a pair of his lenses for a good price. he said he got RX lenses, thats why i did some digging. do you guys think this legit?

Any custom pair of Oaks will NOT have a serial number.

oakster, when you mean custom is that direct from factory part still, or some one re-do the painting(prime whatever is necessary)?

OCP is oakleys custom program and can include any pair not cataloged.
Which could be Lenscrafters pairs, if they are taking split frames and adding their own lenses. Pics of the glasses will determine if theyre fakes
