I've seen a bunch of these kicking around from prototypes and a couple in person. They are sweet to be sure. Last I heard was that they may get a broader release sans Ferrari markings later this year and would only be 700ish as opposed to the 2k.

I've also heard it would get a much later US release. For $2000 that piston hinge thing better not fail like other new hinges. Even at $700.

From what I was told by a very reliable source at HQ's a couple months ago is that it's a Q3 release but no Ferrari involvement, just a high end Oakley glass.

I hope $700 or lower does end up being the retail price. Other than a little bit of carbon fiber and the piston hinge, there really isn't a whole lot to the pair. I got to try it on a few times but I don't see why it would be very much more than a Jupiter Carbon.
