Splitshot Shallow Water Questions

G'day to all. Hope everyone is holding up well in the pandemic. Anyways, Oakley has 30% off sunglasses right now so i figured what better time then to pick up a new pair of polarized sunglasses. Done plenty of research and narrowed it down to either Shallow water or Deep water. I currently own a pair of prizm Sapphire gascans. I understand deep water for large open bodies vs shallow water for inshore ect. But when it comes down to it i'm a kayak fisherman so i'm mostly in smaller lakes (not oceans or great lakes) and usually fishing about <40ft of water. Maybe i'm overthinking this but do the shallows seen better into the water vs the deeps. My current ones i can see about 8ft in river water and thats about it. Also would brighter days with the shallow water be harder on the eyes as it lets more light in?
