Spraying The Metal "O" Icons - On Some M-Frames

I've received some M-Frames, the metal "O" is gun-metal grey, but there is a nick where the paint has been removed,

Just pondering about respraying it... - any tips on doing so?

Seems a little tricky to rub it down,.. mask around it, - seeing as it's so small.

Is it easy to remove the icons completely?

yeah, removing them isn't hard at all....use a razor of some kind to get em off....sand em, spray em, clear coat em....that's what I'd do ...but ask Chop, Jono or Batwolf....they do more of that stuff than anybody I know of

soak the earstems in hot water for abit, then use a guitar pick or similar to pry it off. apparently its just glue/sticky tape and should come off easily.

It should only be held on with double sided tape. I usually use either my finger nail of a small technical flat blade screwdriver to get under the icon & then start to lift it up slowly. Just take your time they will come away. You may need to replace the tape though when you come to refit them. Give them a light rubbing down with some fine wet & dry to create a key. Preperation is the key to a good finish & alway seal the paint with a laquer.
