I'm sure you already do, but make sure you keep pictures and videos as well. Otherwise insurance might not cover them if you can't show the proof.

Yes!! This. I actually have all of that just not a actual sheet. And the accountant/hr girl inside of me says go be analytical and creat sheets. While @Marstain laughs at me haha.

I only have a small collection (currently 16) but I have a spreadsheet of what I have, what I paid and what the retail replacement value is.

I keep track of the following Information
Line Item, Name, Condition when purchased, original sales price, SKU, Price paid, Frame color, Lens Color
Color indicates status.
White = not shipped
Orange = in transit
Green = arrived

I have an excel sheet of all the collection pairs and slowing adding other stuff to it as well. Just started adding acquisition dates and numbers.
