I would use a pelican case over the strong box.

Pelican is tried and true. They work and are the industry standard. With that said, are you going to have your high end electronics in a position that you might need that absolute level of protection? Maybe not ever. So going the cheap route for dust and drop protection would be fine. But if you think you might drop your case in 15' of dirty almost frozen water then get the pelican.

Their warrant is pretty good too, never had to use it but it’s good piece of mind. Their stuff is still made in Torrance right?

I couldn't tell where they are made. But it is top notch. Like I said, you can't go wrong with pelican.
