Star Imprint On Frame - Question

That star looks a little suspect I have never seen one so defined

I have a pair of the black acid with the star.

Some Frogskins had stars, which began quite late in the 3rd gen output, and my 'educated' guess is the first pair with it was the Purple Clear Fade - Violet 24-224. The question that arises from this thread is...are there any releases that have some with, and some without the star? I do have quite a number of issues with stars since the 24-224 release

My Purple/Clear fade - violet iridiums have a star (see below) but it isn't nearly as well defined as the one on the matte grey pair.

Couldn't get it any more clearer then that.

if it has the star, solid chance they are genuine. I have plenty with the star, and have seen them without. It isn't a sign of fake, that's for sure.

Just checked all of my Frogs. Grenade Fade has the star but the VR46, Deuce Coupe, Jupiter Camo, Acid Blue and Wilberry & Milk don't.

another tips to make sure it genuine frogs is a number 9,10,11,12 inside the leg..a fake frogs never have them inside the leg..
