Start Customizing

Hello Oakley customizers,

I have been loving all the custom Oakley's on the forum and that has made me decide I want to start customizing as well, since I have always liked being busy with creative stuff. But I want to do it right, so I have some questions I hope you can answer for me:

Firstly, I want to buy an airbrush, what airbrushes are you guys using and what are some relatively affordable airbrush starter sets (<200$), and what are the necessary accessoires?

What type of paint do you use?

Do you first use primer, then paint the frame and then use clear coat?

Also what are some errors you made in your journeys as customizers new customizers should avoid?

I am primitive and use automotive paint in spraycans.

My painting set up is outside and I hydrodip in a large Tupperware storage bin in the sink.

The operation is akin to Tony Stark's

I continue to make mistakes and as one of my mentors @Rick58 taught me, " don't be afraid to make mistakes ".

I think I'm on the 4th or 5th attempt to get a Monster Dog the way I want it.
