Hopefully the nail polish remover didn't have acetone. That stuff can eat plastic, including o-matter, like nothing. Even if it didn't do any immediate damage, any solvent based chem can cause the plastic to become brittle quicker than normal. I always recommend using SuperClean to strip frames. It takes longer, and you need to put in some work with a brush to remove the paint, but you know it won't have any adverse effects on the frame.

Yes acetone free nail polish remover, rinsed with 90% alchahol and a final wash with dawn ultra
