Ok, I know this is a total longshot, but a year or two back I saw a pair of authentic Oakley suspenders on the bay, and now that I think about it, I want me some!!! Does anybody have a pair of Ospenders they'd be willing to part with for some cold hard cash?

Uhh.. that's a hanger. I assume he means a "bretelles" Oh and I'm just stereotyping the "near Montreal" to mean you may speak French more than English.

Well your translation was very logical. Suspenders or more so, to suspend would be a very logical translation of hanger or something to hang with.
