I have a pair of polished/VR28 BIP Juliets but I'm another dissenting voice along with @Jontoad - while I've kept mine, I don't wear them often. I said in another thread that the lens reminds me of a TV with oversaturated colours; I just find it a bit overdone in a way I don't get with the other contrast bases. Other people love it though, but if you can try before you buy is my advice.

The VR28 are my favorite lens. They really help with contrast, and are great if you're hiking.

Yes, today I received them. They quite nice. Not from outside, so they aren't as cool as fire or ice lenses used to be, but from the inside it really has got a calm, relax feeling, and it absolutely isn't as dark as the simple black iridiums used to be.
So compared to my also new Jupiter Loeb +Red lenses, the VR28 is more relaxed, more sharp and more bright from inside.
