The X-MAN Customs Corner

PM me your address and I'll send you a set to review. If you don't like them send them back unmounted or scratched.

No his collection has contracted. The 430 is gone, the ford gt is gone. He got an old bently which he then traded to get a 2014 gt500, which I drove, that was fun.
He also got a 2015 porsche 911. I think the most interesting development is that
he got a cobra car kit from factory five? And a voodoo 5.2 out of a wrecked gt350 (you cannot buy that motor without the car) And he's gonna drop that motor into the kit car! That will be insane I can't wait to drive that when it's done!
You know they make an aluminum body cobra..... I mean if money is no option that's what I would do.

Ok so his kit car is for a Cobra Daytona. The coupe with the pointed butt.
You may be referring to the original cobra convertible roadster? If so he does have a reissued example made by shelby in 2003 with a roughed finish aluminum body. No paint on it.
I've ridden in it, it's...violent...you have to watch your legs on the way in or out, the exhaust pipes will burn you! So far as I know he still has it, but he's always changing things around and I'm not privy to all that goes on.

Hey, looking to have two pairs of Juliet’s restored. Please let me know if you are still available.

Thanks

Thank you X-Man for getting those tuned up for me.

I bought those brand new way back in the day, had Oakley tune them up years ago, and wanted to do it myself this time around. I'm a competent enough mechanic, having build motors, bikes and cars, and decent enough EE building and repairing computers, servers and consoles for fun.

I practiced as best I could on a single nose bridge (but didn't have any orbitals) - but doing mine those nose pins became very stuck, and if I pushed any harder (Linegear pin push tool), was scared of breaking or bending things. You can see the metal deformation on the back of the pins...

I bought all the right tools, and watched and read everything I could in advance - but in the end, decided to learn on some proper project frame, and have the expert get my 1st ever X-Metals turned up, and adding a bit O custom with some painted screws.

I was really impressed with the ultrasonic cleaning, put a before and after for reference.
