Ya, I catch sh*t on about 1 of 10 pair of Xsquared lenses. But if I know up front it's a warranty frame I can get the lenses to be more curved and fit better.

I cerakote as well and have been doing more of the non x metal oaks lately. Seems like the lower heat and longer bake on the plastics and poly blends come out a little smoother. I think its because blasting is lighter. Do you recommend clear coating colors with shimmer like titanium and gunmetals so they feel smooth as the poly frames.. Or longer times and medium heat like whites.
I don't like to reblast and double spray if I can just get good advice. Thanks XAfter you bake the ceracoat then you can put a clear coat on. Remember original x-metals had a rough finish also. I've never owned a painted pair .the stuff those guys are doing on the frogskins now is out of this world though. frogs are a good fresh canvas.Last edited: The fastest tune up you'll find!
