Thoughts On Clear Frame Oakleys

My son has a clear frame Gas Can. The only trouble i have had with them when wearing is that i did seam to get more sun coming in from the sides. Other than that they are a really cool option as they really set the lens colour off.

Indeed. I have a Clear/Chrome Holbrook.
From the outside, the clear frame means that the Chrome lens really stands out as the focal point.
From the inside though, I was surprised at how weird it is to have 'the icicle effect' around the sides of my eyes. They let in all the light from the sides, so I rarely wear these on really sunny days. Which is not such a hardship here in the UK.

i could never pull off a clear frame sadly. thought my mindset would change when i got the SW ClearBrook. but alas, no such luck.

These were a custom pair of Antix I did.

like i said before these look sick. i want to try something like this myself. what sort of paint do you use and how did you do it if you dont mind me asking?

normal acrylic paint should suffice. i use Tamiya paint for my custom work. and they work fine. =)
