Titanium T-Wire

Went down to the vault in my area today and picked up a pair of titanium T-Wires and also a set of Ice iridiums for my polished Juliets. Can't hardly believe how light the T-Wires are. I really can't even tell they're on. And really love the logo on the earstems. Anyway here's a few photos of them and the rest of my small collection.

where's the made in china markings on the new T Wire? I am curious...the originals just looked cool

It's on the left ear stem. I know It's a bummer that everything is being made in China. I would gladly pay another $50 or whatever the cost would be to buy made it the USA stuff like they used to be. What Oakley's are still made in the US now anyway?

Is this the new vintage release? What box did it come with?

I think they just started making them again. I was up at headquarters on Thursday and they had them on display as new releases. This is the box they came in.

It does have a date of 10/31/2013 on the box.

I had heard these were NOS.

Yeah definitely not the same as the originals. The oakley logo on the earstems isn't nearly as good looking as the originals. It's a much finer cut on the lettering on the originals and looks much better imo. You would think they made em once before it would be the easiest to just make em like that again. Guess China can't get it right. Bummer. I think I'll just stick to buying the older xmetals for the most part. And I kinda like the Jupiter Factory lites as well. But always my favorite are the Juliets. Don't think I could ever have enough of those.

Thank you. I also have another pair of carbon/black iridium juliets that I gave my dad to wear as well as a set of matte black/ruby over the tops back in my hometown. Gotta get em sent down to me. Working on getting a display case so I can look at em all the time.
