Saw this and considered making an offer, but idk what these things are worth - I had thought alot more than this, so no idea if it's legit, and sorry if I'm stepping on any toes posting this.. been looking for a watch for awhile now. Is this a fair price?

I would check out the condition at least, and make an offer lower. You never know the final price unless you ask. I did the same thing recently on ebay and got a watch for cheaper than the listing. Unfortunately I can not help you on a fair price.

It's worth about 500 or so from what I've seen

I would also consider on at least an additional $20-50 investment to replace the capacitor in it. It has been discussed before in the watch discussion thread.... Just FYI
