No, I'm in Alabama. I've been on that Huntsville-Monroe-DFW flight a few times

I belive Delta started in Monroe in the 1920s so they keep regular service there.

When I graduated college, I went to work in Dallas. Drove I-20 many times and got caught in an ice storm in '89. Spent 2-3 days stuck in Ruston. Seemed like a nice town.
