Trimming Temple Shocks?

big bopper

I've got size 25 temple shocks in my Juliets which are way too big - the glasses lose their wrap on my face and creates major flex in the nosebridge. They basically look a lot better on me without them in. I know there's a size 15 but reckon even that will be too big as well.

I'd rather have something in there than nothing to avoid metal-metal contact, so has anyone experimented with trimming temple shocks and how did you do it? I've got an idea but looking for confirmation!

Cheers,

I trimmed down some walleva t shox with a grinding wheel on a dremel once. It turned out pretty good
