Can you explain what this mean?I think “USA Made” is meaningless. From what I know, the FTC standard applies to “Made in USA”, which can only used if there is none or negligible foreign content.

Yup. Another defined, but lower than “Made in USA”, standard.

aha, thank you...... so it's a 3rd option, a made up label. to confuse customers, real nice. This is not a precise description, but one of the Federal Trade Commission's purposes is to protect American consumers. This includes "country-of-origin" claims, to which consumers attach value. The FTC can, and does, force companies that make fraudulent "Made in USA" claims to stop the practice. For example, a company will be forced to remove the label from their product.
Here's the Federal Trade Commission site defining "Made in USA" and "Assembled in USA". To be "Made in USA" means virtually all content is manufactured in the US and the end product is actually assembled in the US.
There is no standard for "USA Made". In other words, the label is meaningless. It's just Suxxotica's attempt to dupe consumers. They aren't the only ones.
yes, should. But no way of knowing for sure, right? They are half way there. Lenses should still be made in the US, just not the frame and unobtainium.
