Brand new user so hopefully this isn't out of line but:

I'm wondering what a good price to sell a Torpedo with the silver face would be in excellent (barely worn) condition and how much value the box adds to that price. I've been poking around some but it seems like eBay listings are on the high side of things and the couple collectors I saw here didn't mention what they paid.

Excellent, thank you for this information. I just got it out to take some pictures, turns out I picked up a couple scuffs in storage but thanks for letting me know!

You have to remember, with this watch it will only appeal to a specific collector. It's a very unique watch design. I'd rock it! Cheers

So I took some pictures of the watch. It is in not as good of condition as I had at first thought but still not what I would classify as poor. There's a small (1/4th inch) scratch on the strap as pictured and minor scuffs on the metal (not face). I thought it was a really neat style too but it turned out that my wrists are not large and the ends kind of protrude which made it not comfortable for me. I ended up wearing it for around a week as I recall. I still have the box at my summer home. What do you guys think?

what is eBay price? are they moving at that price? what was the last few that were sold here for (if you can find). start big and/or where you are willing to let it go for. I have all 3 double taps that i would let go for a specific price. Brand new, never worn. Will someone pay me that price.. at the price i am thinking, maybe not now. Later maybe..
