Very First Attempt at Custom Painting!

Thanks @Chris515000
Hopefully you won’t be waiting long! I’m hatching a plan for my next pair :)
It can be as addicting as buying.

I think I’m on 8....several aren’t finished, and my very first one I didn’t like so I re-did it.

I find myself wanting and looking for beaters now rather than anything else....just so I have something I can paint

Very nicely done. I never thought of taking an airbrushing class. I might have to look into that.

Color and design with regards to art/painting was never a strong suit of mine (which is why all my customs are 1 color....LOL)

Maybe someday get into more fun designs like yours.

Kudos....brother.....again....nicely done!
Not to hijack your thread but 1 color is all I know but air brushing is in the close future

I have been mulling over this in my mind for a few years now. Almost afraid of what it entails, the wizardry and mastery required to Customise an already amazing pair of Oakley’s and make them better!

I took a two day beginners airbrushing course a couple of weeks back . Paid for by my amazing wife as a birthday present. Thanks Wend!! :)

It was super intensive and I was actually completely worn out afterwards. We covered the whole lot and much more.

I decided the best pair to start on were an old pair of women’s Oakley’s - Eternal, Vr28 with a crystal brown frame. Black gold icons. I like woman’s Oakley’s because they are way cheaper than men’s usually and also they have some lenses that we just don’t see in other shades, like Black Violet or Black/Grey Gradient.

Anyway - here it is, my very first custom...

I’ll never wear them, guys! :)

What do you mean you would never wear them? They are a really cool of customs. Great work. I’d wear them.

Sent from nowhere special

Then violet fade/blend.. Snagged the stand for 5 quid off amazon @SoulFulFrog :)

I actually tried one the other day. I want happy I couldn't move it around as much as the methods I've been using. Like I felt sorta handcuffed with that stand.. although I can see it does have some good applications. The pair looks great by the way.
