It's just going to be a matter of getting used to the look - I don't think the size of the watch should hold you back (to some extent) from wearing what you like. I have pretty small wrists at 6.5", but all my watches fall into the 44mm - 47mm range. If I had the spare cash, I'd buy another Minute Machine - I've seen a lot of people, with wrists smaller than mine wearing that watch.
