So is the consensus that having an automated winder is better than letting them run down if not being actively worn?

If you switch to the lithium capacitor it’s a must. Letting that capacitor run down basically ruins it. Once charged fully it will hold a charge for 4-6 months.

Just keep in mind it takes some 20000 motions to fully charge the lithium capacitor so let it run for a couple days even… then you should be good for a few months and if you wear them often longer

I received this new version of their kinetic watch winder today thanks to new puppy destruction taking out my other one… pretty cool and takes up less space

Can you turn off the lights / glow? Wouldn't want something this bright where I sleep but does look cool

I need to play with it to see but they only come on when it is spinning and there are 4 modes one of which is every 12 hours so I imagine you can time it not to spin at night
