What Do Blue Iridium Lenses Feel Like Looking Through Them?

I believe blue iridium is Blue applied over a vr28 base lens, at least they always were. Persimmon is more orange and that would basically be blue IR applied over persimmon to yield the HI Persimmon lens.

I just cut a pair of these for a pair of my juliets and I must say I really like them for low light condition. I have only worn them one time or two times on the way home from work in the morning (work nights).

What is vr28? What does the VR stand for? Does it still have the contrast and color pop that persimmon does?

VR = Violet Rust, so a combined Pink and Rose color. The blue Iridium coating darkens it up slightly and lens gives an increased contrast.

Bright orange when looking through them. Just like persimmon but much warmer. It needs a little getting used to. And as batwolf pointed out, even with the iridium coating they can still see your eyes.
