What Happens To Parts From Discontinued OCP Models?

Does anyone know what happens to all the component parts from OCP models that have been discontinued? I'm talking about the uniquely colored earsocks/etc that you can't buy individually. I've never seen them hit the Vault or retail. Does Oakley just scrap the parts, or what?

I was just wondering about this because the OG Half Jacket was just removed from OCP on the web site, and I know they still had a crapload of nicely colored earsocks left. I would love to get my grubby little hands on some of those, but I doubt it's ever going to happen.

Try calling and asking for them. It can't hurt. My friend recently called Oakley asking for a pair of XX Twenty lenses, and they sent him a pair for free!

Part of them are kept for warranty issues and the rest go on to become MPH pairs.
