What lens color is this?

So I was always under the impression that I had fire lenses, but the more I look the more I think they're ruby. From 1st gen plasma Juliet's. I looked up serial number and it said plasma fire. As you can see they're pretty beat up.

A lot of the tint colors have gone through "generational" color changes. Most noticeably the reds have gotten a lot more orange and yellow as of late. Which is where the "fruby" name comes from - the current ruby is more like fire than the solid red it used to be. And similarly, fire is more yellow now than it used to be.

To be honest, those could be fire or ruby. Or even a really nice +Red.

Look at the back of the lens, if the base color is bluish they are ruby, if it's grey they are fire.

Isnt fire much more of a yellow/green like lense?

they def have a yellowish tint when you look through them

My bad, you are right! Had to go find a pair of my fire lenses lol. Likely fire then. To get a similar appearance to those you'd likely want a modern ruby (aka Fruby) lens.

yeah, that is a very red fire. Are you the original owner? I'm just wondering if there's a chance they're non-OEM replacements.

Otherwise, as stated, very different base tints will give it away every time. Neutral bluish / grayish for ruby, Contrast yellowish / brownish / greenish for fire.
