Recetly dug out my Gen2 e-Wires. As a MTB-mad teenager in the early '90s the the Gen1 e-Wires were THE thing to have, the pinnacle of the Oakley range (bar maybe the t-Wire). Got my first job in '99 and bought these in June 2000 for $99 from Sports Vision Bend, sadly just missed the last of the Gen1 with the flat hammer stems, they tried to get some for me but they had (by a matter of days) just gone OoS at Oakley USA.

Got out today to mail back some knock off frogskins, glad the 3rd winter is finally over and we have sun.

Some Gen2 black crystals with red iridium. Yes well aware that my beard name would be Patch Adams. Been the first time in 21yrs I could grow it out.
