What Really Grinds Your Gears?

We’ve been debt free since ‘05 and our gears mesh smoothly.:drinks:

Our son will leave The University of Alabama next Spring without any student debt. He realizes the blessing he’ll be receiving.
Very nice!

We paid over 2/3rd of my daughter's debt so she can manage the rest herself.

Now it's on to my son who is in 11 grade now. (Unless he goes military, which he is considering)

We know a couple who’s daughter graduated from Penn State with $120K in student debt and decided after graduation, she didn’t want to pursue a career using her education. She went to Nursing School and had to borrow more money.

What a nightmare scenario !!!

That's a pretty common story...

There's no way she'll be able to live on her own with that kind of debt and on a regular nurses salary.

Yeah, and if she meets someone with similar debt and wants to start a life together, how do you make a relationship work, starting off $250K in the HOLE ???

It’s absurd man !!!

And, a degree should not be required to be a supervisor at Target...even middle management. Just take a few classes when needed. It’s called “training”...
