What would cause this randomly?

What would cause the lens to all a sudden spider like this with no trauma to the glasses and I’ve had these lenses in them for about 8 years all over the world in different climates from Alaska cold to tropical warm like the Cayman Islands. They’re oem oakely custom cuts also not after market

It looks like it’s in the actually poly not the coatings it spreads all the way across the lens it’s just hard to picture

Yea that comes from age, my original lenses from 98 did that all through the lenses

Looks like the anti glare coating that’s cracked. I’ve had several lenses do this

Too much pressure along a certain axis can cause this. If the lens was not cut enough and it was a tight fit, then tightening the orbital screws could have created too much pressure over time causing the spidering within the lens itself
