What's happened to my lenses

Noticed some weird lense damage appearing round the outside of the inner lense when cleaning today, does anyone know what causes this.

Skin oils, hair products, general schmutz on them. Those are just gonna get worse now. If you replace them be sure to rinse them off after you wear them each time and that shouldn’t happen.

.....and clean the inside of the frames in the grooves when you remove the old lenses. I had a used pair I purchased, replaced the lenses and didn't clean the frames and the new lenses met the same fate. Luckily then were not OEM lenses.

And dry. Drying to remove moisture is also important. I use a can of compressed air to do that.
